We are so excited to host this year's (un)Market, Merry & Bright

It's an honour to support our vendors (featuring some old and new friends, profiled below!) and the work they do to care for the needs of those around us, especially at Christmas.

This year we'll be under the lights outdoors, and cozy and warm indoors. The (un)Market is tons of holiday fun, good eats, warm drinks - all to the soundtrack of your favourite live carols and Christmas music! Admission is free, the more, the merrier.

NEW this year: It's a Chili Cookoff! Taste-test a flight of chili and vote for your favourite.

For donations at the (un)Market on Dec. 10 we can accept cash, 'square payments' or etransfer.

New advent message each Sunday, beginning Nov. 27, 10am in Ajax and on YouTube.

So much of the Christmas story happens at night. A guiding star, those heavenly hosts, a midnight run to Bethlehem. A light shining in darkness, indeed!

But the darkness rolls on, doesn’t it? Thousands of years later and we find ourselves asking, “Where is the peace? Where is the love? Where is the light?”  We are the weary world.

This advent season, we’ll explore the kind of peace Jesus offers through His very own presence. We’ll hold the tension of the dark night and the brilliant light. We’ll ask for fresh perspective and rekindled wonder.

May Jesus illuminate our hearts, our homes, His church, the world.
