During our gatherings we sing songs, read Scripture, tell stories, and think and talk about Jesus and how He wants His followers to live. We join together in Communion each week, breaking bread and taking the cup to remember Jesus’ death and resurrection. We invite you to participate (online or in person) however you feel most comfortable.
Each week, we provide a Worship Pack for families that's filled with stuff just for kids (find it HERE.) It parallels our online gatherings in a way that is accessible for your family. When in person, we have a separate service for our children which is an interactive, multi-media based time of singing, teaching and story-telling. After their main session together, they divide up for more age specific curriculum.
When asked what they love about Forest Brook, people often refer to the friendly welcome and that our community is made up of all generations and backgrounds in one place. We value tradition and history, but continue to pursue the ways that our God and our faith remain relevant today, and use current means of expressing that.
