"Church is not an organization you join; it is a family where you belong."

 - Nicky Gumbel

This fall at Forest Brook, church is going to look a little different.  As we come together in-person for the first time in a long time, we are seizing the opportunity to reset and refresh. We're introducing a new kind of community worship experience (both in-person and online), and intentionally gathering around Jesus.

We're serious about making sure that Forest Brook is a family where everyone belongs, and we are excited to welcome you home this fall!

Sundays @ 10am : Community Worship

IN-PERSON

Because we care about one another's safety and well-being, we closely follow public health guidelines for our region as it relates to COVID-19. On Sunday mornings at Forest Brook, you'll experience many of the standards that have become so familiar (like mask-wearing, social distancing, screening and contact tracing), and perhaps some new ones as well (like individually-packaged communion elements.) For more on what we're doing to keep everyone safe, click HERE.

Worship, preaching, prayer and communion are lead 'live' by people in the room. Families worship all together for the first portion of the service, then kids get to experience a program designed just for them. We celebrate the goodness of God through musical worship, and we gather around Jesus at the communion table. We designate time for intentional connection with one another. We get to be together in the presence of God.

Taking care of registration ahead of time helps us keep things simple at the door. Pre-screening and registration opens each Saturday at 9am and is required for every member of the family.

(You can do so Sunday mornings in the lobby too.)

NEW FORMAT COMING: THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Forest Brook Online is not just a portal into what is happening in-person, but it's own unique expression of church. We are preparing a fresh weekly gathering experience that will launch October 10, 2021. In the meantime, we won't be live-streaming our Community Worship Gathering because of some technical realities. As it turned out, God had something else in mind for us online this season: we've prayerfully curated key messages we believe God wants us to hear again and will reframe those pieces of our journey, to gather around each Sunday in September (on YouTube.)
