Sunday morning worship gatherings are about our community coming together to remember God's work in our world, and providing a place for people to respond. Our services include a time of singing, a message and communion each week. We celebrate baptisms and baby dedications at various points throughout the year.
We love how our church is driven by the efforts and involvements of our people, and we rely on a team of volunteers to lead our music. We have 3-4 worship teams and worship team leaders who plan the song portion of our services.
Communion is an integral part of our services each week. We serve Communion because we believe that it is a way that we can remember Jesus’ death how he asked us to. This tends to be a more quiet, reflective time in our service of silence, reading, praying and sometimes singing or instrumental music. Everyone is free to join in and participate in this part of our service, but some choose to let the bread and cup pass by them and along to others as they reflect during this time.
We regularly highlight the activities and stories of the initiatives and ministries of Forest Brook, and spend time praying for our community and world each week.
