    Women's Ministry

    Connect 4
    At "Connect 4" women of all ages from our community come to the church to enjoy good coffee, conversation and friendship, as well as to participate in a variety of activities - including scrap booking, quilting, fitness classes, etc.  A short discussion about what God is doing in the everyday lives of regular women is also a part of this Thursday morning program.  This program costs $25.00 for a 12-week session, and includes childcare.  The program typically runs from February to May. 

    Take Time

    Take time is an enthusiastic group of women of all ages who meet twice a month on Tuesday mornings to study God's word together. Three different studies are offered to promote spiritual growth and discussion.  These studies run from September to June, and breaks for the summer. The goals of this ministry are to explore the Bible together, minister to one another in prayer and to build friendships with one another.  Babysitting is provided for women with young children.  Often these groups get involved in outreach projects within the life of Forest Brook and the surrounding community. 

    Ladies Special Events
    The women of Forest Brook pull out all the stops and come together for fabulous themed breakfasts or evenings of entertainment, refreshment and inspiration.  Women are encouraged to bring their friends and neighbours for these fun-filled times apart.  

    Women's Retreat
    The annual weekend retreat is a special time when women can escape the demands of daily life and gather together to refresh their souls.  It's a chance to connect with old and new friends, listen to a wonderful speaker, participate in workshops, enjoy the outdoors and even go shopping!  Of course there's also plenty of time for personal reflection, corporate worship and the study of God's word.
