When you walk into Forest Brook, we want you to feel comfortable – so please wear something that will help you to be comfortable! You will find people in jeans and some dressed more formally, but we love that diversity!
Our services will give you a taste of what we want our community to be about. We sing songs, read Scripture, tell stories, and think and talk about Jesus and how He wants His followers to live. We join together in Communion each week, breaking bread and taking the cup to remember Jesus’ death and resurrection.
During our service, which starts at 10:00 AM, we have a separate service for our children which is an interactive, multi-media based time of singing, teaching and story-telling. After their main session together, they divide up for more age specific curriculum.
The kids and adults join together in our main auditorium, each long weekend and throughout the summer. Nursery and pre-school classes remain available during these times.
When we ask people what they love about Forest Brook, people often refer to the friendly people and that you can see people from all generations and backgrounds in one place. We value tradition and history, but want to understand the ways that our God and our faith remain relevant today, and use current means of expressing that.
Should you find your way here on a Sunday morning, please make a point of connecting with us at our Welcome Centre in the lobby. We look forward to seeing you here sometime!
